The urban design study applied the principles set out in 'Improving the High Road' to the proposed public space around the new Crossrail station at Ilford.  It suggests design guidelines and a palette of materials to form a strong new identity for the space linked to other streetscape improvements related to other stations and public spaces along the High Road.
