The ground breaking ceremony took place this evening to signify the commencement of construction of the Queen Elizabeth II Centre which will provide a new conference & learning centre, made possible by the ZVM Rangoonwala Foundation, with an advice centre and programme for young people to access careers in the legal sector made possible by The Queen's Trust. Buckingham Palace agreed to Coram naming the new building The Queen Elizabeth II Centre.
Bales College currently occupies a Victorian ‘National School’ building within the grounds of the listed church of St John the Evangelist, Kensal Green. The proposal includes a new building containing classrooms and a new entrance along with residential development which includes four new town houses and 5 flats within the converted Old Vicarage. Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent were granted following extensive consultation with LB Westminster Planning departme
